This live, online intensive workshop is designed for scholars who wish to share their work with the public. Titled “Say It Like You Mean It and Make Your Work Matter,” this 4-hour bootcamp provides academics and experts with a practical framework for expanding the reach of their research.

In a professional and respectful tone, you will learn how to translate complex scholarly ideas into clear, accessible language without compromising rigor. The session covers methods for identifying which aspects of your research resonate most with the public, preparing your work for media opportunities like op-eds and interviews, and articulating the value of your discipline in a changing landscape.

This workshop is led by Nanda Dyssou, founder of Coriolis Company, a firm specializing in helping scholars—particularly those who are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-gen—gain visibility for their work.

Workshop Details:

  • Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026
  • Time: 9 am-1 pm PT / 12 pm-4 pm ET
  • Location: Zoom
  • Price: $1500

This intensive is for scholars who are publishing significant work, doing equity-oriented research, or feeling frustrated that their ideas are not reaching the people they are meant to help. It is an opportunity to gain the tools necessary to make a meaningful public impact.
